One of my favorite places on the Big Island is Honoli'i. There surfers enjoy the constant pounding of big waves, while on lookers enjoy the relief of sea mist on a hot day. In this painting, a local Hawaiian man is taking in a breath of sea mist as he waits for the next set to come in. |
